SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Method for reducing crop contamination and herbicide inhibitory action when growing tobacco seedlings, comprising adding to nutrient mixture with optimally calculated content of main nutrients N70P60K70 soil herbicide Command, CE (Clomazone, 480 g/l) in the rate of consumption of 0.01–0.02 ml/m2 for 10–14 days before seeding with immediate closure, irrigation of the treated section in the absence of precipitation during the period from introduction to sowing in amount of 10–15 l of water per m2 and adding Humic fertilizer Rostok in dose of 1 ml/m2 3–5 days before sowing seeds and twice in vegetating plants 2 and 4 weeks after sowing seeds with irrigation water at 1 l/m2.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce crop contamination and improves quality of tobacco seedlings, stimulates its immune potential and reduces mycopathogenic infection.
