FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is intended for ionisation and iontophoresis of mucous membranes by silver ions without using external sources of electric current. Device for preventing rhinitis in the form of split ring (3) comprises two short-circuited electrodes of metals with different electron output values. Split ring is made of electrically conductive material. Electrodes are located at the ends of the split ring with the possibility of their placement separately in different nasal passages and are made in the form of two balls. One electrode is made of silver (1), the second electrode is made of gold (2).
EFFECT: invention enables prolonged ionophoresis with silver ions for preventing rhinitis of both nasal passages simultaneously.
