FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating avulsion fractures of humerus supracondylar with displacement of bone fragments. Method involves closed one-stage manual setting of fracture, fixation of bone fragments, limb immobilization with gypsum splint from condylus of metacarpal bones to border of middle and upper third of arm for 4 weeks. Fixation of bone fragments is carried out by cross kinesiotaping of the fracture zone by two elastic tapes of cotton on adhesive base, which are stretched to a length exceeding their initial length by more than 50 %. First tape is glued from the upper third of the forearm on an anterior surface with a fracture zone and an olecranon, and the second tape is glued at angle of 110° to the first from the lower one-third of the arm to the upper one-third of the forearm with capture of the fracture zone, placing the ribbons on the fracture area.
EFFECT: method provides constant compression of displaced fragments even against a background of traumatic edema reduction due to kinesiotaping.
