FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrophysical and electrochemical treatment, in particular to electric erosion alloying (EEA), and can be used for machining surfaces of machine parts and metal cutting tools. Method of steel parts processing by means of electro-erosion doping of their surface layer includes stages of cementation with graphite electrode, aluminizing with aluminum electrode and application of wear-resistant coating. Wear-resistant coating is applied by means of electrode-tool made of material selected from group of refractory metals, including Ti, V, W and their carbides, at that all operations at each stage are performed at the same discharge energy in range from 0.5 to 3.4 J.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance of steel parts, reliability and durability of operation, as well as reduction of labor intensity and cost of their production.
