FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulse equipment based on magnetic cumulation of energy, in particular to the technique of generation of high-current and high-voltage current and voltage pulses in a load from a relatively low-impedance disk explosion-magnetic generator (DEMM) of current by using various types of current breakers. Electrically-explosive current breaker for commutation of disc explosion-magnetic generator current into load includes at least one element with disk charge of explosive and contains exploded conductor consisting of separate parts located on cylindrical surface of insulator of internal transmitting line, this insulator separates exploding conductor from elements with disk charges of explosive substances, and insulator of external transmitting line separates exploding conductor from external elements of structure, parts of exploded conductor are made of wires of round section, diameter d each, at that their diameters and their number N are selected proceeding from ratios in the following sequence: (4δ)/π<d<2δ, N=40δ/d2, where D is cylindrical surface diameter of insulator of internal transmitting line, value δ depends on the operating characteristics of the DEMM and is selected experimentally based on range of 0.05 mm≤δ≤0.5 mm, wherein N is within ratio (D/δ)<N<(Dπ2)/(4δ) and between wires of round cross section there are gaps with value a=πD/Nd>0.
