FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to editing medical images. That is ensured by device (50) for editing medical images, which comprises processor unit (52), output unit (54) and interface unit (56). Processor unit (52) is configured to provide three-dimensional (3D) model of the anatomical structure surface. 3D surface model comprises multiple sub-sections of surface. Each sub-portion of the surface has a number of vertices and each vertex is assigned a ranging value. Besides, processor unit (52) is configured to identify vertex as target vertex. Identification is based on function of measured distance of proximity to analysed point and value of ranging. Output unit (54) is configured to provide a visual representation. Interface unit (56) is configured to determine the analysed point on the visual representation of 3D surface model. Besides, interface unit (56) is configured to modify 3D surface model by shifting target vertex.
EFFECT: technical result is easy editing of medical images.
