FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to means of controlling power parameters in connection of two shafts. Disclosed is a device for measuring axial load (100) in connection between drive (1) and driven (2) shafts, connected by means of coupling (3), conjugated with these shafts by means of at least one resilient connecting element (5, 6). Elastic connection element (5, 6) comprises at least one elastic element (52, 62), preferably consisting of a plurality of elastic discs assembled into the package. Elastic element (52, 62) is connected to both coupling (3) and one of said shafts (1, 2) for transfer of torque between both shafts. Device for measuring axial load (100) also comprises first flange (31) of coupling (3) and second flange (61) of elastic connecting element (5, 6), wherein second flange (51, 61) is connected to elastic element (52, 62), and at least one measuring station (7', 7") for measurement of distance variation relative to the initial distance between the first and the second flanges. Said measuring station (7', 7") comprises at least one sensor (71, 72) for measuring distance variation relative to initial distance between first and second flanges, wherein measuring station (7', 7") also comprises support (9) for supporting said at least one sensor (71, 72), and cooling device for cooling of support (9) and/or said at least one sensor (71, 72). Device described above also implements corresponding method of axial load measurement.

EFFECT: this group of the invention increases accuracy of measuring axial load in connection of two shafts due to cooling of objects located directly in the measurement zone.
