SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding video data, in particular to a device for obtaining an internal prediction mode, generating a prediction unit and a residual unit for reconstructing a reconstructed unit for chroma components and brightness. Provided is an apparatus that derives a luma intra prediction mode and a chroma intra prediction mode, determines brightness conversion element size and colour conversion element size using brightness conversion size information, adaptively filters reference pixels of current brightness unit based on internal brightness prediction mode and luminance conversion element size, generates prediction units of current brightness unit and current chrominance unit and generates residual brightness unit and residual chromaticity block. Therefore, the internal prediction distance becomes shorter and the number of coding bits required to encode the intra prediction modes and the residual luminance and chrominance components residuals, reduced and coding complexity is reduced due to adaptive coding of internal prediction modes and adaptive filtration of reference pixels.
EFFECT: improved encoding and decoding video data for chroma and luma components.
