FIELD: video data encoding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video data encoding, in particular to a device for obtaining an internal prediction mode, generating a prediction unit and a residual unit to recreate a restored unit for chromaticity and brightness components. A device is proposed that obtains an internal prediction mode of brightness and an internal prediction mode of chromaticity, determines a size of a brightness conversion element and a size of a chromaticity conversion element using information about the brightness conversion size, adaptively filters reference pixels of the current brightness unit based on the internal prediction mode of brightness and the size of the brightness conversion element, generates prediction units of the current brightness unit and the current chromaticity unit, and generates the residual brightness unit and the residual chromaticity unit. Consequently, the distance of the internal prediction is shortened, and the number of encoding bits required for encoding internal prediction modes and residual units of brightness and chromaticity components is reduced, and the encoding complexity is reduced due to adaptive encoding of internal prediction modes and adaptive filtration of reference pixels.
EFFECT: improvement in video data encoding and decoding for chromaticity and brightness components.
