FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of using plasma-activated water and/or plasma-activated gas for rapid oxidation of contaminants (odors, bacteria, viruses, and so forth) in air, gas, liquids or on surfaces, to which air flow is directed. Disclosed is a plasma reactor assembly comprising an outer housing comprising a fluid inlet, fluid medium outlet and power supply connector; at least one step-up transformer electrically connected to the power supply connector; plurality of parallel dielectric tubes electrically connected to the transformer; at least one arc v-shaped electrode separator arranged between each dielectric tube with a gap for fluid medium between each electrode splitter and each adjacent dielectric tube. There is no fluid flow path between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet other than the path between the dielectric tubes and the electrode separators. Also described is a method of replacing a chemical or barrier filter with a plasma reactor unit and a disinfection and sanitation method.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of disinfection or sanitary treatment due to increased concentration of active forms.
