FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a medical system, specifically to CT imaging facilities. CT imaging system comprises an X-ray generation source, an X-ray detection detector, a source control unit and a detector, a supporting device for supporting the person being tested and a processing unit for receiving a signal from the detector, which is a detected X-ray, wherein source and detector are located opposite each other, so that between source and detector there is receiving space, wherein the supporting device is located in the receiving space such that the X-ray radiation generated by the source, which has passed through the person being tested, is a detectable detector, wherein detector is formed and/or made with possibility of simultaneous detection of X-ray radiation of first energy spectrum and other, second energy spectrum, control unit is configured to cause preliminary scanning of the pre-analyzed region of the person being tested, so that the source is only involved with the first, the X-ray tube single accelerating voltage for the X-ray radiation generation during the pre-scanning, processing unit is configured to determine a preliminary image of a pre-analyzed region of the person being tested based on a first detector signal caused by pre-scanning, control unit is configured to cause primary scanning of the main investigated region of the person being tested after pre-scanning, so that the source is only involved with the second, the only X-ray tube accelerating voltage for generating X-rays during the main scanning, wherein the processing unit is configured to determine the primary image of the main analyzed region of the person being tested based on the second detector signal caused by the main scanning, and processing unit is configured to determine mineral density of bones based on first detector signal and/or preliminary image. Method of CT imaging is carried out using a system which also includes a machine-readable medium.
EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to increase accuracy and definition of mineral density of bones.
