FIELD: medication.
SUBSTANCE: application: for examination of examination object by means of computed tomography. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that circular scanning of examined object is performed by means of X-rays in accordance with preliminarily specified value of angular discretisation, which represents number of discretisation points on one circle, to obtain group of discretisation data of projections at various angles of projection, preliminarily specified value of angular discretisation is higher than 1000; discretisation data of projections are processed to obtain data of projections of multitude of virtual subfoci, equivalent to large focus of radiation source in the system of computed tomography (CT); and reconstruction of image is realised in accordance with data of projections of multitude of virtual subfoci.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility of increasing spatial resolution of image.
