FIELD: storage of information carriers.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to provide reliable storage of restricted access media. Invention is a special storage with the possibility of emergency destruction and includes a safe equipped with a facility analyzing integrity of its shell for opening, and equipped with destruction means, which includes a combustible mixture which gives a combustion process as self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS reaction) and enables destruction of different types of restricted access media in response to an attempt to unauthorized opening of the safe shell, as well as in normal mode by an operator's command.
EFFECT: technical result of the claimed invention consists in significant improvement of reliability of storage of various types of data media of restricted access by including in the technical decisions and operating principle of the device, enabling to ensure guaranteed and safe destruction of restricted access media for environment and people, as one of effective methods of its protection against compromising.
