Method comprises obtaining location information relating to location of terminal device, wherein the location information comprises the first location information and the second location information, wherein the first location information relates to the location of the terminal device in a certain region, and the second location information identifies the area in which the terminal device is located, generating content for the proximity detection service detection message, including the first location information, integrity message is calculated based on content for detection message and second location information, and proximity detection service detection message containing content for detection message and computed message integrity code is transmitted.

EFFECT: high efficiency of processing proximity detection services.
