FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedics, and can be used for treating SNAC syndrome or SLAC syndrome complicated by osteoarthrosis of radial- scaphoid joint. Method involves removal of scaphoid bone and creation of arthrodesis between capitate and semilunar bone. Retaining the attachment point to the base of the second metacarpal bone, the extensor carpi radialis longus is dissected away in the tendon-muscular portion at the level of the upper one-third of the forearm. Then, the tendon is folded into a roll, sutured and laid in a bed of a distal scaphoid bone.
EFFECT: method provides avoiding undesirable complications in the distant period due to a long tendon of an extensor carpi radialis longus.
