BASAL IMPLANT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61C8/00

Abstract RU 2711546 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: declared group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to a basal implant and a method for installing the declared basal implant. Implant comprises implant body (A). On the body there provided is surface section of support head (B) having the shape of truncated cone with height of 7.5 mm and having two splines for fixing the setting key. Upper diameter of support head (D4) has size of 2.1 mm. Lower diameter of the support head of the basal implant (D5) has a size determined by the specified taper of the support head. On the body there is neck section (E). Width of neck (E) is 2–5 mm, and neck diameter (D3) is less than inner diameter of implant body (D2) by 0.1–0.2 mm. Body has a middle part of the body of the implant (F) having a helical or cylindrical thread with an outer diameter (D1) and an inner diameter (D2). Length of the middle part of the body of the implant (F) changes from 0 mm in increments of 2 mm to the required size. External diameter (D1) of the middle part of the body of the implant (F) is less than the diameter (DO) of the following main thread (C) by 0.6–1 mm. Body contains the main threaded part of the implant (C). Diameter of main thread (C) varies from 4 to 6 mm, wherein length of main thread (C) is constant and is 5–7 mm. Body has a section of the body diameter of the implant (D2) having size of 2 to 2.5 mm. End portion of the implant (G) is provided on the body, which enters the basal bone, and if necessary, into the cortical layer of bone and is fixed therein. Length of end part (G) is not more than 2 mm, and upper diameter (D6) of end part of thread is less than diameter (DO) of main thread. Method for installing the declared basal implant involves performing a diagnostic procedure, selecting optimum sizes of the basal implant in accordance with the process parameters and bone structure, as well as setting in the required position in accordance with the diagnostic procedure results.

EFFECT: simple technique of implant installation, reduced risks for patients and higher safety for doctor and patient, as well as higher stability of fastening and maximum effective use of patient's bone.
