FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. A peripheral laser iridotomy is performed in a patient with primary closed-angle glaucoma. No less than 2 months later, corneal endothelium density and depth of anterior eye chamber are determined. If corneal endothelium density is not less than 2,436 cells/mm2, anterior chamber depth of at least 2.62 mm, patient aged no more than 65 years perform selective laser trabeculoplasty.
EFFECT: method enables preserving the corneal endothelium and preventing its decompensation after the combined treatment with excluding the adverse effect of laser radiation on the corneal endothelium.
