FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to applied electrochemistry, specifically to devices based on modified electrochromic compositions and methods for their production. Electrochromic device contains two electrodes, at least one of which is optically transparent. Between the electrodes a closed space is formed, which is filled with a solution, which includes: an aprotic inert solvent, an unsaturated oligomeric-monomer composition, pyridine containing cathode material, anode material, a photoinitiator, an adhesive, indifferent electrolytes, an optical bleach from an aromatic or heterocyclic series, an antioxidant from a number of sterically hindered phenols, polymer from a series: polystyrene, polymethylmethacrylate, polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinylpyrrolidone and a plasticizer from a series: crown-ethers and phthalic acid esters.
EFFECT: longer service life of the electrochromic device.
