SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthetic surface coatings, in particular, to wall lining and floor coatings. More specifically, it relates to elements of synthetic surface coatings, which are based on mineral materials. Invention also relates to a manufacturing method. Surface coating element includes: a layer of mineral substrate, optionally coated with a suitable primer; decor deposited on substrate layer forming decorative layer; and a transparent protective layer obtained from the curable polymer composition, wherein the substrate layer is based on a geopolymer.

EFFECT: disclosed product provides high moisture resistance.
