FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dermatology, paediatrics, allergology and immunology, and can be used for prediction of atopic dermatitis in children. That is ensured by determining the concentration of interleukin-22 in blood serum of a child with atopic dermatitis when entering the hospital and with interleukin-22 concentration of 35 pg/ml to 62 pg/ml, mild atopic dermatitis is predicted; at concentration of 63 pg/ml to 90 pg/ml, a moderate degree is predicted, and if concentration is 91 pg/ml and higher, a severe degree of severity of atopic dermatitis.
EFFECT: method enables more accurate prediction of the severity of atopic dermatitis in children.
