FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packaging, in more detail - to blanks for cigarette pack formation. Disclosed is blank (300) for forming a container for consumer products, which comprises panels (308, 309, 312, 314) to form corresponding walls of the container. First side panels (311) extend from rear wall panel (312) while second side panels extend from front wall panel (308). When assembling container first and second side panels overlap to form at least part of left and right side walls. First side panels and/or second side panels are connected to appropriate one of panels - rear wall panel or front wall panel - by means of modified edge sections (3100, 3110, 3120, 3130). Workpiece comprises a pair of valves extending from first side panels and/or from second side panels.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification and optimization of the process of developing, manufacturing and assembling the package, as well as providing the possibility of folding the package using a conventional packing machine, without the need for significant structural modifications.
