FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biomedical research and nanotechnology. What is presented is a method for determining genotoxicity of nanoparticles on nuclear material of erythrocytes of peripheral blood of fish in vitro. Blood is sampled from a vein, preparation of cytogenetic preparations is carried out on slides, fixed with mixture of 70 % ethyl alcohol, hydrolysis of 1 n. HCl with subsequent staining of the preparations with Schiff's reagent and subsequent detection of genotoxicity of cells induced by nanoparticles under experimental conditions.
EFFECT: invention enables assessing the level of chromosomal disorders by analyzing the interphase nucleus and provides shorter time for assessing the genotoxic effect of the nanoparticles.
