FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to nephrology, and can be used for early diagnosis of venous drain outflow from renal vein "pool". Rheogram (RG) of both kidneys is performed. A rheographic curve is used to define a dicrotic index (DI) and a diastole-systolic index (DSI) reflecting a condition of peripheral blood flow in the renal vein "pool". That is followed by ultrasonic Doppler sonography of the main renal vein. A difference (ΔVven) is determined between the maximum blood flow velocity (Vven-max) and the minimum blood flow velocity (Vven-min) during one cardiac cycle. Provided that the RG value of the CI curve is not less than 0.61 rel. units, DSI not less than 0.72 rel. units and ultrasonic Doppler sonography values of ΔVven of at least 22 cm/s determine venous outflow.
EFFECT: method provides detecting disturbed venous outflow of kidneys at an early stage due to complex application of RG and ultrasonic Doppler sonography.
