FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method provides the following stages: initial urine pH is evaluated for 3 days in a patient suffering uric urolithiasis; provided all specimens of urine have pH<6.2, sodium citrate is used to adjust the patient's urine pH to 7.8 that is expected to decrease independently to an initial level; provided sodium citrate is dosed up to 0.06 mg/kg of the patient's body weight, and urine pH decreases independently to the initial level more than 48 hours later, a mild degree of the clinical course of uric urolithiasis is stated; if the dosage falls within the range of 0.07-0.15 mg/kg of the patient's body weight, and urine pH reduces independently to the initial level for 30 to 48 hours included, a moderate degree of uric urolithiasis is stated; the dosage of 0.16 mg/kg of the patient's body weight and the independent reduction of urine pH to the initial level for less than 30 hours shows a severe degree of uric urolithiasis.

EFFECT: method allows ensuring for a reasonable approach to the therapy of urolithiasis; improving the informational content of the indicators of the metabolic state of the patient suffering uric urolithiasis that enables determining the length of medical and social rehabilitation and remission.
