FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and is intended for use in treating patients with early deep periendoprosthetic hip infection. Access with excision of wound or fistula is followed by arthrotomy, examination of hip joint and endoprosthesis components. All non-viable tissues are removed, and prolonged postoperative ultrasound sanation of the hip cavity and the contaminated implant is performed. Intra-articular ultrasound sanation procedures in the postoperative period are performed daily through a hollow metal guide preset through bone structures of the greater trochanter with using an ultrasonic surgical apparatus and a wave guide with length of 140 mm for 3 minutes with fixed oscillation frequency parameters of working waveguide end of 26.6 kHz and power of 100 W.

EFFECT: method ensures antibacterial effect not only on bone and soft-tissue structures of the hip, but also on components of the installed endoprosthesis.
