SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating patients with periprosthetic infection after hip replacement. Method involves antibacterial therapy and introduction of antiseptics into the wound. Endoprosthesis is removed and the incisional wound is sanitized; before the incisional wound is closed, a skin incision of 3.0 cm is made in the upper one-third of the outer surface of the thigh. A plastic port for high-flow infusions Bard PowerPort™ isp M. R. I.™ is implanted under the skin with ChronoFlex 6 F catheter and an antibacterial agent reservoir. ChronoFlex 6 F catheter is brought through the soft tissues and placed into the incision wound, which is closed tightly in layers. Skin wound above the port is also sutured. Antibacterial preparation is replenished in the postoperative period by percutaneous introduction of the antibacterial preparation into the installed catheter with the help of a Huber needle.

EFFECT: method provides fast relief of pyoinflammatory process, wound healing and enables to perform the second stage of revision hip replacement in the shortest possible time due to creation of prolonged local high concentration of antibacterial preparations in focus of purulent infection.
