SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a fluorinated polymer having a cyclic structure. Disclosed is a method of producing a fluorinated polymer by polymerising a monomer component containing a perfluoromonomer having a specific cyclic structure in the presence of a polymerisation initiator at a predetermined polymerisation temperature to obtain a mixture containing a fluorinated polymer and an unreacted monomer with a cyclic structure. Perfluoric monomer having a cyclic structure is removed from the mixture at temperature not exceeding the maximum final polymerisation temperature of +12 °C and not exceeding temperature of 10-hour half-life of polymerisation initiator +12 °C at pressure below atmospheric pressure.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of polymer production cost due to efficient extraction and subsequent use of expensive monomer.
