CHECKING COMMAND FOR PENDING EXTERNAL INTERRUPTS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G06F9/48 G06F9/30 G06F13/26

Abstract RU 2712132 C1

FIELD: computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Technical result is achieved by receiving a command for checking presence of one or more waiting external interrupts, wherein the external interrupt is an interruption occurring from the computer system limits, which is external to the program and different from the input/output interruption occurring from the input/output device, and executing a command, which includes: detecting, based on the information command provided, one or more subclasses of external interrupts to be checked, checking for one or more pending external interrupts for one or more checked subclasses of external interrupts, checking is performed when the computing environment control program is deactivated for one or more subclasses of external interrupts, and indication of presence of one or more waiting external interrupts for one or more checked subclasses of external interruptions, at that external interrupt is considered waiting for external interrupt subclass irrespective of whether subclass of external interrupt is activated.

EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting presence of a waiting external interrupt.
