FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Technical result is achieved by obtaining a command to perform a conditional jump to a given indirect location and executing a command which includes: obtaining a jump address from a location in memory, indicated by a command, wherein the contents of one register specified in the index field of the command, plus the contents of another register set in the main command field, added to the specified offset in the command, providing an address in memory, determining location in memory, detecting, based on the conditional code of the other instruction, the need to perform a transition using said conditional code for indexing on the command provided by the mask to identify the need to perform a transition, and transition to transition address obtained from location in memory, based on identification of necessity to perform transition, besides, transition is performed in absence of preliminary loading into transfer address register.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of access to backup common register for its use by means of transition command.
