SUBSTANCE: invention of claimed group relates to production of welded pipe from metal plate. Bending of metal plate is performed by means of bending unit. Device comprises a light emitter which emits the directed light to the inner surface of the metal plate, an image capturing unit, which captures light emitted by the light emitter and reflected by the surface of the metal plate, as well as an auxiliary correction unit for the folding unit in accordance with the shape of the reflected light.

EFFECT: higher quality of welded pipe due to control of shape of metal plate during bending.
