FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of machine parts by extrusion. Method includes magnetic chip separation, washing and subsequent drying with hot air. Then chips are fed into hopper of extruder, preheated with HFC, forced through 68–70 MPa and final heating to temperature Tc=760 °C (0.7–0.9). Then it is supplied into extrusion head with cavity for casting of mold of produced piston. After crystallization of the product, the upper part of the said mold is opened and the piston is removed.
EFFECT: disclosed is method of making parts of machines from aluminum chips.
