FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground water treatment in areas of intensive oil production and processing. Method of cleaning ground waters from heavy metals and oil products involves filtering ground water in a geochemical barrier filled with a mineral granular material – silicified calcite with a particle size of 20–40 mm. In the geochemical barrier there are electrochemical current sources generating the coagulant. Residue extracted from treated water is subjected to composting, the purified water is reused. Water is filtered in a crossed electric field consisting of transverse and longitudinal electric field created by electrochemical current sources successively located along the geochemical barrier length. Direction of the vector of intensity of the electrochemical field in neighboring electrochemical current sources is reversed. Water filtered in mineral granular material is collected by perforated headers arranged with inclination similar to that of river water. Water is supplied into wells uniformly located along length of geochemical barrier, in which gravity separation of oil products is carried out with the help of skimmer. Water is fed into injection wells for soil washing. Sediment is supplied to slime platforms for dehydration and compost sites for production of commodity soils. Electropositive material used is graphite, electronegative – aluminum.
EFFECT: prevention of water body contamination with oil products and heavy metals in technogenic streams of ground waters, by their extraction, cleaning and repeated use.
