FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed method relates to measurement equipment and can be used to measure fluid flow using triboelectric effect, electromagnetic phenomenon and corrective processing of electrical signals. Distinctive feature of method consists in installation on measuring section of pipeline of sensors at distance λ. Electrical signals obtained at the output of the sensors are amplified by amplifiers and fed to a correlator consisting of a controlled delay unit, a multiplier, a low-pass filter and an extreme regulator. At the output of the multiplier, a low-frequency voltage is selected, which is proportional to the correlation function R(τ), where τ is the current time delay. Changing current time delay τ providing a maximum value of corrective function R(τ). Extreme regulator maintains value of corrective function R(τ) at maximum level, affect control input of controlled delay unit. Maximum value of corrective function R(τ) is provided at τ=τt. Speed V of the moving fluid is determined at the measuring section of the pipeline V=λ/τt, its flow rate Q=S⋅V, where S is section of pipeline measuring section.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the method by determining the velocity of a moving fluid.
