FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anesthesiology and resuscitation, and can be used for assessing sedation depth in dental implantology. Immediately prior to the operation, systolic blood pressure (SBP) is measured and the measured SBP value is compared to daily SBP values. That is followed by intravenous infusion of propofol 1 % through a syringe dispenser at rate of 60 ml/l. That is followed by measuring SBP with monitor every 3 minutes from the beginning of propofol administration, followed by a decrease in propofol infusion rate depending on SBP decrease dynamics. SBP reduction to the daily value corresponds to 2 Ramsey scale sedimentation scores, while the SBP values are 10 % lower than the daily values, the sedation level corresponds to 3 points on the Ramsey scale. Rate of propofol infusion, at which SBP is 10 % lower than the daily values, is the target one, and maintained until the end of the operation.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to easily achieve the state of minimal sedation, as well as to maintain it at this level during the whole operation by evaluating the complex of the most significant indicators.
