FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a system for measuring characteristics of a liquid in a two-phase mixture of liquid and solid phases. Described is a method of operating a system comprising a single loop suspension reactor-polymeriser or two or more looped suspension polymerisation reactors with integrated sampling systems of a mixture of liquid and solid phases. System and method of measuring characteristics of a mixture of liquid and solid liquid phases in a vessel are also described.
EFFECT: technical result is fast and efficient separation of solid and liquid phases with provision of fluid flow, free from solid particles, which can clog or negatively affect analytical equipment.
