FIELD: films production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyethylene for the manufacture of blown films, where the polyethylene contains an ethylene/1-butene copolymer, an ethylene/1-hexene copolymer, an ethylene/1-octene copolymer, or a combination thereof, having an Mw in the range from 70,000 to 200,000 g/mol, the Mz/Mw ratio is in the range from 1.8 to 20, the IW parameter (integral width) is in the range from 0.92 to 1.05, and where the polyethylene has a peak ATREF temperature in the range from about 68 to about 78°C and CY-a parameter (width а in the Carro-Yashid model) is in the range from 0.2 to 0.3.
EFFECT: polymers according to the invention have a sharp drop impact resistance, tear strength and optical properties of LLDPE obtained using a metallocene catalyst, but with improved processing properties, melt strength and bubble stability (BS), and can find application in blown film and other areas of the final application.
