FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to application of extract produced from dried and milled elevated part of alpine Hedysarum grass as an agent exhibiting neuroleptic action. Application of extract produced from dried and crushed elevated part of alpine Hedysarum grass (Hedysarum alpinum L., Fabaceae) in 95 % ethanol at raw material : extractant ratio of 1:10 at room temperature for 120 minutes, obtained extract is filtered, followed by extraction of 100 ml of benzene or 150 ml of chloroform and dried at room temperature, as an agent possessing neuroleptic action.
EFFECT: above extract possesses pronounced neuroleptic action.
