FIELD: antidepressants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of antidepressant constituting a 9-[2-(4-isopropylphenoxy)ethyl]adenine formula
for correction of side effects from neuroleptics exemplified by reserpine wherein said antidepressant in concomitant use with reserpine does not suppress the neuroleptic effect thereof and does not enhance side effects thereof in form of drug-induced parkinsonism and cognitive impairments and in such combination maintains own significant antidepressant effect.
EFFECT: invention provides an antidepressant which corrects side effects from neuroleptics such as reserpine.
