FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: culture of root Hed.th. (Hedysarum theinum Krasnob.) possesses all characteristics of pRi t-DNA transformed roots, namely: intensive growth on simple nutrient mediums not containing phytohormones, plagiotropic root branching, as well as genetic and biochemical stability, ability to synthesis of species-specific isoflavons.
EFFECT: chemical analysis of secondary metabolites proves to maintain ability to synthesis of ononine isoflavons, texasine glycoside, malonyl ononine, formononetine, specific for roots of the whole plant.
