FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling of agricultural products during processing and storage, in particular milk, on livestock farms and pastures, and can be used in conditioning systems of industrial, livestock premises and storage facilities. Proposed natural cooling battery for cooling milk on farms using natural cold, comprising a heat exchanger consisting of several accumulating reservoirs filled with water and installed outside the room, pipelines with valves, is equipped with a mobile cooling tower for cooling the coolant placed in open air, with a coolant pump, a coolant carrier, an irrigator, a drop catcher, a fan, and a spray tube with nozzles, wherein accumulator heat exchanger is made in form of horizontal row of accumulating tanks buried in ground in soil freezing zone, with plastic pipes laid on their bottom, filled with environmentally friendly coolant with low freezing point and connected by pressure hoses through control valve with mobile cooling towers and flow heat exchanger for milk cooling, forming a closed circulation circuit of coolant, ice frosting in tanks is performed due to freezing of water supplied to reservoirs from water supply system in volume depending on negative temperature of external air and due to circulation of coolant in period of negative temperatures at night, wherein coolant is cooled in mobile cooling tower by means of spray tube with nozzles, fan and control valves, wherein in order to preserve cold in the accumulating tank in the accumulator, additional control valves are provided, which at coolant temperature below ambient air temperature is refluxed flow of cold carrier during milking bypassing spraying tube with nozzles and milk cooling is carried out due to cold accumulated in accumulating tank, and the fan is switched off, wherein the coolant circulation is provided by one mobile cooling tower, connected to one of the accumulating tanks, the number and size of which depend on the livestock on the farm, region of the country where the accumulator is installed and the amount of accumulated cold in the period of negative temperatures, wherein the control unit is electrically connected to the coolant pump, the fan, ambient air temperature sensors, coolant, milk and control valves.
EFFECT: as a result of using the invention, it becomes possible to reduce energy expenditures for milk quick cooling in a flow during milking, to increase reliability, cooling capacity and operating efficiency of cooling system due to use as coolant of environmentally safe coolant with low freezing point, circulating in closed loop (plastic tubes installed at the bottom of accumulation tanks, flow-through plate heat exchanger for milk, mobile cooling tower pump and control valve) and cooled in storage tanks, arranged in the form of horizontal row, buried in the ground and installed in the freezing ground, to temperature of 0 °C and lower.
