FIELD: agriculture; dairy industry.
SUBSTANCE: installation for cooling milk and heating water on farms contains a cooling and heating device with thermoelectric elements, installed after a flow-through heat exchanger for pre-cooling milk. Thermoelectric elements are located between the heat exchange plates with the formation of cold and hot channels through which milk with water flows, while the milk is cooled and the water is heated for the technological needs of the farm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce energy and material consumption, to increase the level of system automation, to exclude the use of a vapor-compression refrigeration machine for cooling milk, and also to use the same devices for cooling and heating.
