METHOD OF TRANSMITTING DISCRETE INFORMATION VIA HYDROACOUSTIC LINK IN MULTIBEAM SIGNAL PROPAGATION CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H04B13/00

Abstract RU 2571390 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises, at the transmitting side, generating a clock signal and a source information signal, having a low cross-correlation coefficient; at the receiving side, calculating spectral readings of the complex envelope of the received clock signal and the complex envelope of transmitting the received information signal; at the transmitting side from a selected volume of a set of information signals comprising m cyclic shifts of the source information signal, generating a transmitted signal consisting of K information frames comprising one clock signal transmission and L information signal transmissions; at the receiving side for each received information signal transmission, generating an auxiliary sequence; performing element-by-element multiplication of the auxiliary sequence with a complex-conjugated sequence; performing inverse discrete Fourier transformation of the obtained sequence to calculate a complex envelope of the autocorrelation function of the clock signal, which is time-shifted by m cycles; in the envelope, searching for the position of the maximum component and mapping the found position with a digital code m, transmitted by an information signal in a frame.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity of transmitting information.
