FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: container for consumer articles is at least partially formed from a layered workpiece of cardboard or thick paper having thickness (T) and forming part of container, which contains at least a first flat wall and a second flat wall, which are connected to each other by means of part in form of bevelled edge. Bevelled edge part has inner surface and outer surface, and inner surface of part in form of bevelled edge forms ablation area (A) having length (L) in longitudinal direction of part in form of bevelled edge and width (W), which extends across part in form of bevelled edge. Ablation region comprises two or more ablation lines extending substantially in the lengthwise direction of the portion in the form of a chamfered edge. Each ablation line has minimum residual thickness (RT) which is at least approximately 15 percent and less than approximately 40 percent of thickness (T) of the workpiece, and a gap between lower points of two adjacent ablation lines is more than 1.3 mm and less than 5.0 mm.

EFFECT: providing a container for consumer goods having one or more bevelled edges that has an improved look.
