FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to metal forming and can be used for pipe forming by means of pipe corrugator. Each row of moulding blocks comprises a station for transfer of moulding blocks. At the output of the movable moulding channel, a two-stage station for transfer of moulding blocks is used to ensure fast movement of the moulding blocks to a free position relative to the moulded article. After displacement into free position, moulding unit is turned and supplied to reverse movement drive made with possibility to move moulding unit back to inlet of moved moulding channel. Owing to the initial displacement of the last moulding unit of the movable moulding channel away from the lengthwise axis of the moulding channel, fewer mould blocks are required.
EFFECT: higher quality of moulded corrugated pipe due to elimination of possibility of collision of moulding blocks with any formed corrugations.
