FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic separation and separation of mineral mixtures, is intended for enrichment of weakly magnetic materials and can be widely used in mining-dressing, glass, food, light, chemical and other industries. Vortex current magnetic separator for loose materials consists of drum made from non-conductive material, magnetic rotor, which rotates independently from the drum and located inside the drum is eccentrically relative to the drum rotation axis with the possibility of adjusting its location, a feeder located above the drum and devices for receiving separation products. Magnetic rotor is equipped with counterweight, which serves to exclude twisting moments in rotor supports, and simultaneously for adjustment of rotor position relative to non-magnetic drum, rotation of which in turn provides movement of conveyor belt. Magnetic separator is equipped with two knives – dividers, arranged on common bracket. Each dividing knife is connected with its servo drive by means of hinged units intended for control of change of position of knife-divider in radial direction. One of the dividing knives is equipped with a nozzle for fine adjustment of products of fine fractions.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of loose materials separation process.
