SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technical diagnostics of machines, in particular, devices for load stands for testing and testing brake systems of automobiles, wheeled tractors and other vehicles. Stand for controlling the braking systems of motor vehicles contains two identical sections located on the frame for mounting the left and right wheels of the tested axle of the motor vehicle. Each section is equipped with two corrugated rollers, a drive of these rollers and a meter of braking force in the form of a torque wrench. Drive of the rollers of each section is made in the form of a ratchet mechanism consisting of a ratchet wheel and a pawl interacting with it. Ratchet wheel is kinematically connected via an axis to one of the section rollers, the lever is equipped with a pawl, which is pivotally attached to it and has the ability to interact with the ratchet wheel. One end of the lever is pivotally connected to the axle, and a torque wrench is rigidly attached to its free end.

EFFECT: simplified design and the possibility of repeated measurements are achieved.
