FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine-building industry, and namely to diagnostics of vehicle brakes. Test bench includes two supports movable in longitudinal direction and having horizontal contact surface for installation of wheels of test axis, drive of supports, which is made on the basis of power cylinder, ball-bearing guides for movement of movable supports in longitudinal direction. Movable supports have no rigid connection to each other and are brought into movement separately with two independent power cylinders from one common pneumatic or hydraulic system. On each movable support there installed are weight sensors, movement start and force sensors, the signals from which through amplifier and analogue-to-digital converter are supplied to computer to be processed; the above converter supplies diagnostics results of brakes of each wheel to printing device and monitor display. Diagnostics of vehicle brakes is performed taking into account irregularity factor of rise of braking torque KTRI, irregularity factor of locking the wheels of one axis as to time KLI and turning moment MTURNING, which characterises the stability of vehicle during braking.
EFFECT: increasing accuracy of diagnostics results of vehicle brakes, as well as possibility of determining actual values of braking efficiency parametres of left and right wheel of the test axis and quantitative estimation of stability of vehicle during braking.
