FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding materials and can be used for arc welding of austenitic steels with austenitic-ferritic wire. Flux contains components in the following ratio, wt%: electrocorundum 24.5–37, wollastonite 27.5–35.0, fluorspar 27.5–29.0, metallic manganese 0.5–4.0, ferrosilicon 1.0–5.0, chromium metal 1.0–4.0, sodium silicate 7.0–7.5. Ratio of total content of chromium metal and 3/4 ferrosilicon to 1/2 of manganese metal is selected within 3.9–7.0.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining high welding-technological properties and providing content of ferritic phase in weld metal from 2 to 8 %, which increases resistance against hot cracks when welding with austenitic-ferritic wire.
