FIELD: mechanical devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical devices, in particular, to shearing screws that can be used for connection of drilling tool elements. Cutting screw comprises body with cut section. A hole in the body for introduction of hydraulic fluid. Rod comprises chamber at least partially surrounded by section of cut and support structure in chamber to support section of cut. Support structure is subject to destruction in response to action of hydraulic fluid. According to the second version, the rod is subjected to destruction to weaken the support of the section of the cut in response to the action of the liquid introduced through the hole.
EFFECT: technical result is discrete expansion of shear screw destructive load range.
