METHOD OF TRAINING PEOPLE WITH HEARING DISORDERS OF 1 TO 4 DEGREE AND SPEECH DEFECTS ON ORAL-AURAL DEVELOPMENT SIMULATOR Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/12 A61F11/00

Abstract RU 2713984 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to technique for audiology, can be used for hearing-and-speech development of people suffering from hearing loss. Disclosed is a method of teaching people with sensorineural hearing loss of 1–4 degrees and related speech defects on the oral-aural development simulator, characterized by that personal data of the student are entered, student audiogram is recorded at different tested frequencies successively from each ear, starting with hearing better or at the same hearing - from the right one, by means of simulator information extraction unit, for this purpose thresholds of audibility are determined with definition of lengths of sound waves, which students hear better; taking into account data obtained when taking an audiogram, individual adjustment of the following simulator exercise parameters is performed for subsequent training for each ear: student microphone power level, volume of sound in headphones taking into account those frequencies of sound or lengths of sound waves, which the student hears better, frequency of sound waves, adjustment of width of pass band of audio frequencies supplied to headphones of the student, wherein when the difference in the perception thresholds for the corresponding ear of the ear of not more than 5–10 dB between frequencies 500 and 1000 Hz or 1000 and 2000 Hz is established using the audiogram, the audio bandwidth is expanded taking into account the individual values of the frequencies perceived by the student and increasing volume at frequencies low for student - those lengths of sound waves, which student hears better, at limitation of frequency range of hearing tone of student, which receives audiometer frequency to 1000 Hz, increasing loudness at frequencies low for a student and expanding the frequency band or removing from the presented range those frequencies which the student does not hear, with hearing loss in range of 12–500 Hz to 40–50 dB and difference of perception thresholds of more than 20 dB between frequencies of 500 and 1000 Hz, low frequencies for the student and lowers the average and high frequencies thereof, with hearing loss in range of 12–500 Hz to 40–-50 dB and a difference of perception thresholds of more than 20 dB at frequencies between 1000 and 2000 Hz or 2000 and 4000 Hz, lowers the volume of the student's low and medium frequencies, teaches the student on the simulator, for that: processed sounds, words or collocations pronounced by a person not having hearing and speech disorders, is transmitted to student's headphones and duplicated supply of said audio signals to vibrotactile simulator device, embedded in student's hand, receiving student's same sounds, words or phrases are received by student's microphone and vibration supply by vibrotactile device in case of their improper pronunciation by student, then student's audiogram is repeatedly removed and parameters of simulator are updated taking into account repeated audiogram, and using the updated parameters continues training of student on simulator.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method for training people with hearing disorders of 1 to 4 degree and speech defects on an exercise apparatus of auditory development.
